Sales and UK imports
The sales service focuses on premium vehicles. For a car already in Cyprus, ask which vehicle is available, who the seller is and which ownership and service documents accompany it. Arrange an inspection before agreeing a purchase.
For UK imports, ProtoCars describes assistance with sourcing, inspection, shipping, customs procedures and registration in Cyprus. Request a written quotation separating the vehicle price, inspection, transport, taxes, port costs, registration and service fees. Premium rentals
ProtoCars advertises premium rentals with airport or hotel handovers by arrangement. Confirm the exact model, dates, mileage allowance, collection and return points, and any delivery charges. Its FAQ describes third-party liability cover and a refundable deposit. Ask for the deposit amount, release conditions, damage cover, excess and exclusions in the selected agreement; do not assume comprehensive cover.
Confirm the minimum age and required driving experience, particularly if the driver is exactly 25. The provider's published age wording is inconsistent. Its FAQ also asks renters not to drive into northern Cyprus and says its insurance does not cover that area. Do not interpret delivery advertising as permission to cross. Transfers and additional services
The transfer service covers advertised airport and hotel journeys as well as events. Specify the route, pickup time, passengers and luggage, then confirm the vehicle, child seats if needed, waiting charges and cancellation terms.
Additional advertised services include detailing, polishing, protective treatments, tinting, wrapping and customization. Ask who will perform the work and what the written estimate includes.
